10.4.0 - September 2026

  • SWIFT Standards release 2026 model, for market infrastructures and clearings that adopt it with the November 2026 update, such as Target2; as the SWIFT network go-live was postponed, this remains an SRU2025 release

Upgrade note: the Prowide Core dependency and the deprecation schedule remain those of SRU2025. Some model dictionary classes were renamed or removed, so code referencing them must be adapted and recompiled. The message versions introduced by SWIFT Standards release 2026 are valid on SWIFT only for the market infrastructures adopting them in November 2026, such as Target2. All other SWIFT traffic must keep using SRU2025 message versions until SRU2026 goes live on 12 June 2027.

  • (PW-3251) Feat: lenient parsing of file-format (FileAct) payloads with sibling AppHdr and Document root elements or undeclared namespace prefixes, applied consistently across all parsing entry points without copying the payload
  • (PW-3251) MxParseUtils.identifyMessage now returns an empty Optional on blank input instead of throwing an IllegalArgumentException
  • (PW-3251) Added MxParseUtils.needsNormalization to check whether a payload needs lenient normalization without materializing the normalized content, for callers that only need the boolean outcome (e.g. file format detection)

  • Feat: xsd:any wildcard content (e.g. SplmtryData/Envlp, signature envelopes) is no longer dropped on parse; it is captured as an org.w3c.dom.Element with namespaces preserved (GH-39, GH-43)
  • Fix: toJson() now serializes @XmlAnyElement wildcard content as raw XML instead of an empty {}, and fromJson() restores it back to a DOM Element (round-trippable)

  • (PW-3202) Fix: removed spurious Error propagating pending prefix mapping warnings when parsing regular ISO 20022 Documents wrapped in an SNL-like envelope
  • (PW-3185) MxSwiftMessage.toJson() now uses 1-based months (January=1) for Calendar fields and emits a schemaVersion marker. fromJson() reads both new and legacy (0-based) payloads transparently.
  • Updated gson from 2.13.2 to 2.14.0
